Michael Hlousek-Nagle studied painting at the Leith School of Art in Edinburgh, then at Glasgow School of Art, where his 2002 Graduation Exhibition was awarded the William and Mary Armour Award, and the Villore Scholarship to study at the New York Academy of Art.

 

Michael has exhibited regularly in several London galleries and has work in private collections in the UK, France, Switzerland, Austria, Germany, and the US. He has also produced artwork for several classical CDs and set designs for productions at the Lincoln Center in New York and the Royal Ballet, Covent Garden.

 

Outside fine art, Michael’s interests include classical music (especially twentieth century), literature, ancient Roman civilization and art, Americana, true crime, pseudoscience and the occult.
